Supernets allow EVM private chains, but txs are validated by nodes already present in the main network, with their corresponding incentives. Business apps can be deployed in private networks and use the public chain to carry out the validation of these transactions through ZKPs.

Sidechains can be set up in a plethora of ways, and while we build the RAIN mechanism for sidechains, developers have the freedom to set up their side environments however they wish - using any EVM-compatible tooling.
