Governance

Different platforms have approaches to governance that range from informal coordination on online forums and chat rooms to formal voting processes conducted on-chain. Changes to core technical design features, token inflation rates and economics, and how treasury funds are allocated are all examples of decisions that can be coordinated through on-chain governance.

DAO's are a critical part of any decentralized ecosystem, but the lack of legal frameworks and an offering of tools/services have left business operators confused about how and why to implement one. Umbrella not only uses DAOs and SubDAOs throughout its architecture but also makes the process much easier for businesses.
